  • I like people like this who propose ideas like this. It's worth a try although the pressure may be overwhelming. Another possibly even simpler idea would be to construct a large 1 mile long hose and simply place it over where the oil is gushing.

  • BP is too now "too big to fail" in part because of the pension problems it would cause. I see another US taxpayer bailout on the horizon. That's how it has all has been working and will continue to work until our currency becomes worthless as the taxpayers and their children go broke.
